After splitting a pair of home games last week, Michigan State hits the road for two contests, beginning with a trip to Lincoln on Thursday to take on Nebraska. The Cornhuskers started Big Ten play with three straight wins but followed that up with five straight losses. One reason for the losing streak might have been the absence of Ed Morrow, a sophomore forward who has missed the last five games with a foot injury. Morrow, who was averaging 10.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, is considered to be a game-time decision tonight.
