It was a decidedly down year for Big Ten football. The top teams disappointed — Michigan, after being widely regarded as a top-4 team, dropped three of their last four games, and Ohio State got smacked in their playoff game — and the basement of the conference was just as bad as it always has been. Despite the unimpressive season, the Big Ten was still a hotbed of production at one position: running back.
