Spartans try to sweep No. 24 Gophers
Michigan State and Minnesota meet for the second time in 15 days as the Spartans (11-6) and Gophers (15-2) are among five teams tied atop the Big Ten standings with 3-1 records. On Dec. 27 in Minneapolis, MSU rallied for a one-point overtime victory in the conference opener. The Gophers have won three straight since then, including road victories over Purdue and Northwestern to vault into the Top 25.
