Michigan State players knew all about the history of Madison Square Garden long before playing there earlier this season.They knew playing Duke at Cameron Indoor meant they were playing in one of the most iconic home gyms in all of college basketball, and the guys back from last year’s team didn’t need to be told they were playing on the same court Michael Jordan won so many games on at the United Center in Chicago.But the Palestra, where MSU will play Penn State on Saturday? That doesn’t resonate as much with the young Spartans.
