Connor Cook had been going through what essentially was a redshirt season in the NFL. Now he’s a starting quarterback in the playoffs. Talk about a daunting debut. Yet pressure rarely has fazed the rookie from Michigan State, who will become the first QB in the Super Bowl era to make his first career NFL start in the postseason as his Oakland Raiders take on the Houston Texans in an AFC wild-card game on Saturday (4:35 p.m., ESPN).
