Junior alternate captain Corey Tropp (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) was named the team's Most Valuable Player as well as capturing the team's Outstanding Offensive Player Award

For the second-consecutive year, Kyron Foster of the Michigan State track & field team has received All-Big Ten honors after his performance at the Big Ten Indoor Championships on Sunday, Feb. 28. Foster, a three-time All-Big Ten honoree, captured the men's triple jump crown with a leap of 15.59m in Minneapolis, Minn. He earned first-team honors for the first time in his career.

Although he has never said publicly that he doesn’t take the BTT as serious as others, it is my opinion that is what Izzo feels about the event. I can tell you that last year it seemed to be significantly more critical and I get the same feeling this season.
