Gina Mondo's bat continued to deliver for Michigan State softball (12-11) as Mondo sent her second and third home runs of the season over the fence against Bowling Green. The Spartans picked up the 6-2 win in their first of two games on Sunday at the Stetson Invitational.

The Michigan State men's golf team concluded play and finished 14th at the Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational at the Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga. The Spartans, ranked No. 15 by Golfweek/Sagarin, ended the three days with a 26-over par 890 (295-296-299), after a 11-over 299 today.

Michigan State, the No. 5 seed in the South region, will travel to Denver and play the Temple Owls in the NCAA tournament on Thursday. The Owls, 21-12, won the Atlantic 10 tournament Saturday in a 69-64 win over St. Joesph's. This is the first NCAA tournament bid for Temple since 2001 and the 26th overall in school history.
