For freshman linebacker Max Bullough, it was the first taste of game day at Spartan Stadium. For sophomore linebacker Steve Gardiner, it was an opportunity to show he's improved enough in the offseason to help the team when real games roll around. And for sophomore Denicos Allen, it was a chance to further acclimate himself with the linebacker position having switched from defensive back.
