The Michigan State volleyball team opens up play this weekend as it hosts the MSU Showcase on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28-29. Besides the Spartans, No. 12 Southern California, North Carolina and Albany will also be participating in the annual two-day event. With a lineup that features three NCAA Tournament qualifiers from a year ago, this field looks to be one of the strongest fields in several years.
