Two months ago, Michigan's basketball team faced one of the nation's most difficult stretches, playing Connecticut and Michigan State in a four-day span. Though the Wolverines lost both games, U-M coach John Beilein could see that those were Final Four-caliber opponents, a notion that will be validated when MSU and UConn face off in Saturday's national semifinal at Ford Field.
