Some fans have jumped to the conclusion that Saturday it will be in there best interest to root for Michigan to defeat Ohio State. These fans would be incorrect, and obviously delusional. I cannot think of a scenario where MSU fans should ever root for the Wolverines, even if a trip to the Rose Bowl is on the line -- or the safety of the human race.

I beg to differ. Not only could a UM victory give MSU a Rose Bowl berth, but it could give some unwarranted job security to Rich Rod. The longer Rodriguez is coaching at UM, the better it is for MSU!
I tend to agree with you, but root may be the wrong word. I want Ohio State to lose.
