Since being hired at Michigan State, coach Mark Dantonio has done an outstanding job of recruiting Detroit, recognizing the value of keeping local talent close to home. The focus on Detroit should not be a surprise. When Dantonio was at Cincinnati, he made recruiting the Motor City a priority for the Bearcats.
