It was easy to overlook at the time, in the wake of an improbable comeback victory over Wisconsin on Nov. 1 that all but assured Michigan State of a New Year's Day bowl appearance. But the loss of Keshawn Martin took some pop out of the MSU offense. Some versatility. Some speed. The true freshman was just turning into a viable weapon for the Spartans when he went down with a shoulder injury in the first half against the Badgers. He'll make his return to the field here in Thursday's Capital One Bowl between No. 19 MSU (9-3) and No. 16 Georgia (9-3).
