Men's Basketball  —  The Spartans put in a lackluster and sloppy effort, including 15 turnovers, as they fall to Louisville 57-44 in the Sweet Sixteen. Seniors Draymond Green and Brandon Wood were the bright spots. Draymond Green recorded another double-double and became the all time leading rebounder in Michigan State history. Brandon Wood led the Spartans in scoring with 14 points.

Louisville's Gorgui Dieng dominated the middle and ended up with 7 blocked shots and limited Adreian Payne and Derrick Nix to a combined 8 points.
