Detroit Pershing was playing Detroit Southeastern last week in a battle of unbeatens and in the early going, a Southeastern guard made a pass into the lane. Before the ball reached Southeastern's post player, Pershing's 6-foot-9 Derrick Nix made a quick move around his opponent and stole the ball.
