Through much of the season, Flint Carman-Ainsworth running back Gerald Holmes has been splitting carries with other talented backs and not getting the workload one would expect of a Division 1 recruit. Against Grand Blanc last week though, Holmes saw the majority of the carries and put up the numbers. He ran for 181 yards on 19 carries and had an 80-yard touchdown. The Bobcats fell, however, to Grand Blanc 30-26.
