Virtually every golf fan has a favorite memory from the Masters - whether it is Jack Nicklaus' comeback win at age 46, Tiger Wood's swoosh-logoed ball trickling into the cup on No. 16 or Phil Mickelson going airborne after sinking the winning putt for his first green jacket. An East Lansing amateur golfer will make some Masters memories himself this week that thousands of professional golfers from around the globe can only dream of - when he tees up his ball at Augusta National. Jack Newman, 21, a junior on the Michigan State golf team, earned the highly sought-after invitation by winning the USGA Public Links Championship in Aurora, Colo., last July.
