SpartanNation.com has learned that WR David Williams has requested and been granted a transfer from the MSU football program. Williams is a wide receiver from Monroeville, PA. SpartanNation.com recently reported that the Spartans may take as many as 21 players in the 2009 recruiting class (if the right athletes are available) and that figure was considering the transfer. Although we were criticized for that figure, it was because we had the inside information of a coming transfer.
