Tom Izzo likes what he has seen. His players sprinted past Northern Michigan and Lake Superior State in exhibition games, scoring 118 and 112 points. They rotated in and out with little drop-off in the skill level between the first and second units. Izzo knows the opponents were from Division II, and that Michigan State won't have its way like that against North Carolina, Tennessee or Georgetown, squads the Spartans might face in the Old Spice Classic in a few weeks.
