Michigan State is expected to play Michigan in the first outdoor hockey game at Michigan Stadium on Dec. 11, 2010. But while a U-M official indicated Wednesday that the deal is set, MSU officials said that isn't the case. "I'm interested in allowing our student-athletes the opportunity to participate in an event like this, and look forward to exploring this opportunity in depth and in greater detail with both the University of Michigan and the CCHA,'' MSU athletics director Mark Hollis said in a statement released by the university Wednesday.
