Jack Newman has become the best ping-pong player on the Michigan State golf team - just another display of his inner drive and competitive nature. His table-top success could be in part because his teammates are occasionally blinded by the shine off his 2008 U.S. Amateur Public Links trophy on display in the Rearick Golf Facility, the team's hang out and practice center on Harrison Road.
