Michigan State junior Jack Newman has been on the leaderboard all day Wednesday at the traditional Masters Par 3 tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Newman fired a 3 under par 24 to trail at the time only leader, Tim Clark who fired a 22 which included a hole in one. Newman tees off in earenest at 12:02pm Thursday with Fred Couples and Rocco Mediate and the threesome plays again Friday at 8:53am.
