After a practice late last month, Michigan State's team walked up to the concourse of Breslin Center for a moment of motivation from Tom Izzo. Izzo had all of his players and coaches look out the arena's windows and admire the late-afternoon sun so they could remember how pivotal this time of year is. "It's always nice to be playing and practicing while the sun is still shining," said Izzo, recalling a phrase Earvin "Magic" Johnson often said as an MSU player.
