Michigan State coach Tom Izzo was talking shop while sitting at a table, surrounded by more than a dozen reporters Sunday afternoon during the Big Ten basketball media day at the O'Hare Marriott. Izzo's Spartans were picked to finish second, behind Purdue and in front of defending champion Wisconsin, in voting by the media panel. The Spartans (27-9), who advanced to the Sweet 16, finished fourth in the conference with a 12-6 record.
