According to Winston's attorney, Brian Jeffries of MSU Student Legal Services, a condition of Winston's bond was that he cannot leave the state without court approval. He is being allowed to travel with the team to Florida from Dec. 25 to Jan. 5. While MSU coach Mark Dantonio has a policy of not discussing internal disciplinary actions, Winston sat out three games after the incident that resulted in Spartans hockey player A.J. Sturges being hospitalized with a serioud head injury.
