The NCAA has adopted a new enforcement structure that includes enhanced penalties for Division I head coaches, who are now presumed responsible for violations committed by their staff members and players. That means possible suspensions for head coaches that can range from 10 percent of a season to an entire season even though they might have not been named in the violations themselves, and Michigan State’s coaches have mixed reactions to the new rules.
