Michigan State basketball icon Earvin "Magic" Johnson shocked the world in 1991 when he announced he had contracted HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Johnson was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers at the time. More than 20 years later, Johnson's decision to go public about his diagnosis will be featured in an ESPN film titled "The Announcement," according to the New York Times.
