Michigan State senior goaltender Jeff Lerg (Livonia, Mich.) has earned CCHA Goaltender of the Week honors on Monday, Oct. 27, as was released by the conference office. Lerg helped the Spartans to a four-point weekend against Northern Michigan at home; the teams skated to a 2-2 tie on Friday, and Michigan State captured its first shootout victory of the season, thanks in large part to Lerg stopping two of the three Wildcat shooters.
