Michigan State coach Tom Izzo isn't surprised that former Spartan Shannon Brown is on his way to the NBA Finals after contributing to the Lakers' Western Conference championship. "I think he's playing within himself," Izzo said. "I think having a little struggle has helped him. He doesn't seem to do things he can't do or force things. ... He's really playing well. I've always said, there's got to be a system for everybody and the right place for everybody."
