Jenison Field House weekend at Michigan State will have history -- but Magic Johnson might be missing

freep.com — Michigan State is expecting a memorable mid-December weekend and celebration of history at Jenison Field House. But it appears Magic Johnson will not be part of that weekend. Athletic director Mark Hollis said Johnson is due overseas for business Dec. 14, the night the Spartans will play an alumni game at Jenison -- where MSU last played in the 1988-89 season.
