Former Michigan State star Morris Peterson might be the next best small forward on the free agent market. If the Pistons want to join the race for Peterson, they'll have plenty of company. Utah and Sacramento have targeted Peterson, who has played all seven of his NBA seasons with Toronto. Cleveland, Miami, New Orlando and Golden State have also expressed interest in Peterson, who will likely receive the full mid-level salary-cap exception with a starting salary of $6-6.5 million.
