freep.com —  Michigan State fell out of this week's Associated Press and USA Today coaches polls after Saturday's 45-7 drubbing by Ohio State. The Buckeyes moved up to No. 10 in both polls, and Texas solidified its hold on the No. 1 spot. The Spartans received 15 votes in the AP poll, essentially placing it No. 29. They got 92 in the coaches poll, good for No. 27.
