For the first time since 2002, the Michigan State volleyball team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, topping Kentucky, 3-0 (30-28, 30-23, 30-27) tonight in front of a sold out crowd of 1,846 at the Frericks Center on the University of Dayton campus. The Spartans (20-13) win their 20th match of the season, the most wins since that 2002 season.
