Although Cal is a four-hour plane ride away from Michigan State, the Spartans aren’t going to spend extra time there to adjust to the time difference and jet lag. They plan to fly out on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m., and return in the wee hours of Sunday morning a few hours after the game, just as they would for a Big Ten road trip or visit to Notre Dame.
