With 2.5 seconds left before halftime in Michigan State's first game of the regular season against Chicago State, freshman point guard Kalin Lucas darted down the length of the court and took flight, hoisting the ball toward the rim. It fell in right as time expired. Head coach Tom Izzo was stunned by what Lucas had done -- he'd made it look too easy.
