Tom Izzo tried to fight the tears at first, as his players answered questions at the podium in the wake of yet another improbable loss to Wisconsin. When the questioning turned to Izzo, he sniffled and trembled through his answers. After the news conference, he walked to the Michigan State locker room and broke down as he reached the door. He wept openly as he answered more questions from a crowd of hovering reporters.
