Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo has stressed that he wants to bring championships back to Spartan basketball. A national championship would be the preferred achievement obviously, but a Big Ten title would be a good start, considering that the Spartans haven’t won a conference crown since 2001 despite having a Final Four and Elite Eight appearance since then.
