This really isn’t even a debate, is it? There’s no contest. It’s Sparty. He’s one of the best mascots in the nation, much less the state. Let’s run down who he’s going up against (purely off the top of my head – no research whatsoever). ... Paws, Roary, Hooper and Zap (S+hock). My apologies to some of the smaller schools and teams in the state, but if your mascot doesn’t roll off your tongue, then it really doesn’t even garner consideration.
