The Michigan State men's tennis team improved to 3-0 on Saturday afternoon picking up dual wins over Wright State, Bradley and Morehead State. The Spartans played host to a four-team round robin out at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility, with each school facing the other three in individual duals.

The Michigan State men's tennis team (14-9, 3-4) was on the road this weekend facing off against No. 48 ranked Northwestern Wildcats. The Spartans were looking to continue their three game Big Ten winning streak when they faced off against a tough Northwestern team, who was on a four game winning streak of their own. The Wildcats came away with a 6-1 victory ending the Spartan's winning streak.

The Michigan State men's tennis team (14-8, 3-3 Big Ten) is back on the road this weekend to take on the Northwestern Wildcats and the Illinois Fighting Illini. MSU is coming off two huge Big Ten wins over No. 33 Indiana and No. 72 Purdue which brought their conference record to .500 and moved them up to No. 57 in the ITA Tennis rankings.

The Michigan State men's tennis team (13-8, 2-3) faced off against Indiana Saturday (March 31) at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility. The Spartans were victorious with a 5-2 win over the Hoosiers. MSU started off the day winning the doubles point then carried that momentum into singles action taking four out of the six matches. This is MSU's second-straight Big Ten win after defeating Wisconsin, 6-1, last weekend.

Michigan State (12-8, 1-3) returns home after a four game road stretch in which they went 2-2. This weekend the Spartans continue conference play with two scheduled Big Ten matches against Indiana and Purdue. First up, on Saturday MSU will face off against Indiana at noon on followed by a match against Purdue on Sunday at noon. Both matches will take place at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility.

The Michigan State men's tennis team wrapped up their weekend with a 6-1 win on the road versus Wisconsin. This was the first conference win for the Spartans which brings their conference record to 1-3 and ends their two game losing streak. The Spartans dropped the doubles point to begin the match but bounced back winning all six singles points.

The Michigan State men's tennis team traveled to Minnesota this weekend to take on the No. 44 ranked Gophers in their second straight match against ranked Big Ten opponents. The Spartans came up short against the Gophers falling 7-0 on the road. MSU was able to win one doubles match along with taking four of the singles matches into three sets but were never able to gain a point.

Michigan State (11-7, 0-2) hits the road this weekend for a pair of Big Ten matches. They travel to Minneapolis, Minn. on Friday to take on the Golden Gophers at 7:30 p.m. at the Baseline Tennis Center. From there they continue on to Madison, Wis. to face the Badgers on Sunday at 1 p.m. inside the Nielsen Tennis Stadium. The Spartans will face Big Ten competition for the remainder of the season in which they look to improve on their 0-2 conference record.

The Spartans traveled to Champaign, Ill. after a match against Northwestern yesterday in which they fell 6-1. MSU was unable to pick up the win, once again suffering a 6-1 defeat against one of the Big Ten's best teams.

The Spartans look to bounce back from two road losses last weekend at Northwestern and Illinois. This weekend MSU will take on Iowa at noon on Saturday, April 14 and then Nebraska at noon the following day (April 15). Both matches are scheduled to be played at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility.

The Michigan State men's tennis team (18-11, 7-6) finished their conference play today as they fell to Michigan in the second round of the Big Ten tournament. The No. 7 seed Spartans put up a tough match against the No. 2 seed Wolverines but fell short. The Wolverines took the doubles point then three of the four singles matches while the other two were unfinished once Michigan won the match.
