On the MSU-OSU history, Tom Izzo is 18-10 overall against a program that was way down when he started, briefly way up under Jim O'Brien (surprise Final Four team in 1999, joining MSU in Tampa, then shared Big Ten title with MSU in 2000), then way down as his tenure ended in NCAA sanctions, now very strong under Thad Matta -- though OSU fans wanted and expected more than the Sweet Sixteen the past couple seasons.
