The defending Big Ten Champion Michigan State women's golf team begins the 2011-12 season this weekend (Sept. 11-13) at the Texas A&M "Mo" Morial in Bryan, Texas, at the Traditions Golf Club. The par-72, 6,260-yard course hosted the 2011 NCAA Championships last May and will welcome an 11-team field for the 54-hole tournament.

The Big Ten champion MSU Women’s Golf team opens its 2011-12 season next week in College Station, Texas for the “Mo” Morial Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M. The tournament is held Sept. 11-13, with a practice round on the 10th. Tee times will run from 8-9:45 a.m. for the first and second rounds, and there will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun on the 13th.
