He came back, playing 23 minutes and settling in during the second half to score 10 points in his first game since a Dec. 19 win at Northeastern. The results were much the same for the No. 5 Spartans, as they jumped out to a big early lead and cruised past Penn State in a 92-65 win to move to 16-1.

Later in the half, when it appeared that Penn State was going to give the Spartans a battle, Bryn Forbes stepped up to push the Nittany Lions out of reach. Forbes recorded 20 of MSU’s 40 points in the half, connecting on a scorching hot 6 of 8 3-point attempts. MSU held a 40-27 halftime lead. As soon as the second half started, it was apparent that the Spartans had the game under control. An impressive team effort, led by Harris and Valentine, allowed MSU to coast to a blowout victory.
