Ice Hockey msuspartans.com —  Michigan State (8-19-3, 6-15-1-0) snapped a four-game skid with a 3-1 victory over Bowling Green on Saturday night at Munn Ice Arena. The Spartans got a pair of goals from junior captian Greg Wolfe and one from Tanner Sorenson, while freshman goalie Jake Hildebrand made 27 saves in the victory. Senior Chris Forfar and junior Lee Reimer each had a pair of assists in the contest as well.

MSU hockey bounces back, beats Bowling Green 3-1 at home State News
Week after week of getting its confidence chipped away, the MSU hockey (8-19-3 overall, 6-15-1-0 CCHA) team finally was able to gain a bit of it back. Not only was Saturday night’s game against Bowling Green a 3-1 win, it was a win that came from solid play and every Spartans’ game turned on at once.

Ice Hockey msuspartans.com —  It was another rough outing for the Spartans on Friday night at Bowling Green, as MSU's scoring woes continued in a 2-1 loss to the Falcons on the road. Greg Wolfe had the lone score for the Spartans in the early minutes of the game, and junior goalie Will Yanakeff had a strong outing with 24 saves. However, a pair of power-play goals propelled the Falcons to a win, and freshman goalie Tommy Burke made 17 saves in place of usual starter Andrew Hammond.
