Picking up the first conference accolade this season for the Spartans, redshirt sophomore goaltender Molly Cassidy was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week. Cassidy receives the honor after recording nine saves this past weekend and only allowing one goal. The Encinitas, Calif. native has a GAA of 3.16 and a save percentage of .741.

The event will begin at the conclusion of the match which is slated to start at noon.
