The men's swimming and diving team heads to Iowa City this week to compete in the Big Ten Championships, Feb. 22-25. The four-day event will be held at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Pool on the University of Iowa campus. Delvon Roe had a chance Friday at a rare and distinguished achievement — becoming just the second MSU player with multiple championships in the world-renowned Lansing State Journal Quiz Bowl. For the few who don’t know, the Quiz Bowl is a trivia tussle between two players from an MSU basketball program that actually cares about the student part of the term “student athlete.” After taking care of Mike Kebler with a 6-5 win a year ago, Roe said: “I look forward to defending my title.”
