Green just went through the toughest week of his. They survive by relying on each other.

For the first time in the last couple of weeks, Tom Izzo thought his team was out of gas. Kyle Ahrens comes up clutch in MSU’s win over Florida Detroit News
When things started getting tight in the final minutes on Saturday, Michigan State was looking for someone to step up and take the game over. On the road for another tough nonconference game against Florida, the usual suspects weren’t exactly playing well. Joshua Langford did his part, hitting two big jumpers in the final six minutes to help the Spartans maintain a slim lead.

Couch: Kyle Ahrens’ game-winning dunk unleashes emotions within Lansing State Journal

Or would you rather be tired right now?’” Ahrens asks himself. “I’m pushing myself through it.” The bench, to Ahrens, represents injury and frustration and precious time wasted.
