For the most of the first half Tuesday, it felt like Michigan State wouldn’t miss. At least, that was the case from 3-point range as the Spartans missed just one of their first 10 attempts during an 87-57 victory at Minnesota. And that miss was a rushed shot from the corner by senior Lourawls “Tum Tum” Nairn, who thought the shot clock was winding down.
