Macgarrett Kings Jr. wants a shot at the NFL and is taking an unusual approach toward accomplishing his goal. The former Michigan State wide receiver posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday of him apparently standing outside the Miami Dolphins training facility holding a cardboard sign reading “READY TO WORK. WILL WORK FOR FREE!!!!” In the post, he wrote about how he was “reincarnated” by his faith in God.
A lot of nights I stared at my ceiling asking God: why me? Is it my talent? Do I have the right connections? What is it Lord? When all along he just wanted me to come back to the root of it all – which is HIM! We tend to lose sight of GOD when we are at a high point in life & forget to glorify HIS name and thank HIM for all the blessings HE has already blessed us with on our journey of obtaining success. For a full year the Lord took the game that I have loved since the age of 3, to remind me that without HIM I wouldn't even be the gifted player that I am today! While I was off the map HE took away my pride, HE humbled me, & made me a light for others! Now that I am back and reincarnated, IM READY FOR WHATEVER! My faith in GOD is at a FOREVER all time high! I'll do whatever it takes to live out my lifelong dream of being an NFL player. If I have to come in front of this facility everyday I WILL! I'll compete against WHOEVER, WHEREVER, & WHENEVER cuz I know I got GOD got my back! I'll compete against ya grandma if she get out there and line it up! I'M BACK AND READY TO WALK INTO WHATEVER GOD HAS FOR ME! #TagRepost #Hungry #Humble #GodsChild #NotAStunt #ThisIsRealLife #ForTheLoveOfTheGame #MKJ #ReturnOfTheKing #Forces
